I decided to give the Holga 120 mm toy camera a try. Yes I know the DP in DPChallenge stands for Digital Photography but sometimes you have to think outside the box...and look inside another one. (That apparently is made entirely of plastic and is bad for letting light in).
Anyways, here is the um...avant-garde shots I took. (Still trying to come up with the right descriptor. Perhaps retro avant-garde?)

kinda cool but the weird borders of stuff outside the frame or whatever that is detracts from otherwise really cool shots, my fav is the one with the bent sign |

Those are FAR better than my first two rolls of 120 with my Holga. I especially like the last one of the barn. No mask borders work on some and not so much on others.
These are the only 2 of mine that I feel are presentable.
I've recently picked up a 35mm mod kit and cable release but I'm only about halfway thru my 3rd roll which is my first roll of color. So far I prefer Ilford Delta 400. I have Ilford SFX 200 (infrared) coming soon.

Yeah...not putting the correct mask in did that. Lesson learned for the next roll :(

Those are incredible. I can't wait to see what my black and white shots look like. I see that you shot one at f/8 and one at f/11. Your aperture actually works? I am so jealous! :)

Cool images, one thing I noticed it seems the images repeat after a while in the list. Is it the page or me? |

*sigh* Its me. blogspot is good for blogging but not photo management. Of course that's not what it was designed for. I unfortunately dropped in a few duplicates and tried to remove them but it seems I missed one. (Or two?)

Lol, it is very alright, I run a lot of mods on my browser so I wasn't sure if I had broken something, no worries, good images, I like the artifacts in some of them actually. :) |

I love Holga. :) You made a couple of nice pics there, I especially like the double exposure. If you want a stronger vignetting effect, just take the mask out. If you have a flash, take out the batteries as well, they will come loose without the mask.
I recently had an accidental double exposure with my Holga as well, that turned out quite nice: click
