Hi all,

I have four of my photographs (of Huntington Beach) on exhibit at the Huntington Beach Central Library, Saturday, May 10 through the end of the month--Saturday, May 31.

The Huntington Beach Conference and Visitors Bureau (HBCVB) held a âSee My HBâ photo contest and instead of choosing the best photo (evidently, they had a difficult time doing so), they took the Top 25 out of hundreds of entries as the âbest of the bestâ. The Top 25 will be showcased at the library during those dates.

The judges for the contest were:

Robert Garcia, professional photographer
Kate Hoffman, director of the HB Art Center
Todd Ventura of Billâs Cameras

The contest was to showcase Huntington Beach â Surf City USA®. The HBCVB will use my photos in one or more publications and on its website to promote Huntington Beach and its surf, sand, sun, and fun to visitors.

Thanks, Mark.

The bad thing is that I'm out of the country until next Friday, so the suspense in wondering what they look like on display is killing me! ;-)

Good shooting! Maybe one of the DPC'ers in the area will photograph the show for you to see when you return from your trip.
Congrats!

I checked it out. They don't allow photography inside the library.

Congratulations on the 4 winning pictures. It is a nice, small exhibit on the main floor right before the used book sale area.

Cool! Thanks Roxanne.

I'll be back in town Friday night, so I plan on checking it out on that Saturday.

Roxanne, quick question...what size are the prints?

Thanks!

I'm not sure. They weren't very large.
