So, for me, Big Cats of Denmark is great. |
So, if the topic were dogs and someone posted an EXCELLENT photo of a rose, then you would judge it on the photo and not how it applies to the challenge?
Sorry, but this is NOT a photo competition, it's a photo CHALLENGE competition. You goal is to create a photo in the time allowed that meets the theme of the challenge. Shooting anything doesn't count. Hopefully more people will do the right thing and stick to the challenge terms. |

Sorry to ruffle your feathers:) OK, I ain't that sorry.
There seems to be a lack of parallelism in the proposed example compared to what I stated.
Good luck in the challenge.

Didn't ruffle my feathers at all. It just makes the same sense to vote postively for a flower in a dog challenge as it does to vote positively for a four-word title in a three-word challenge. |

I wouldn't mind giving it a try but how do you visualize a smell? (That is, if they do..errr...fart ;-D |
Try "Drunken Elves Fart"... And all you need is an innocent passerby holding his nose in a pee-yew pose to imply the smell... You're welcome, you're welcome, I know I'm awesome...

Robert, you have THE best ideas ;-D |
How about finding a flock of big, black birds and sending someone at them with a stick, photographing the chaos, and calling it "Poking Querulous Ravens"? Jejejeâ¢

How about, "Poe Quotes Ravens"?

How critical will the 'Three Words' be. The challenge says:
Challenge Details: Make an image to fit a three-word title where the three words begin with consecutive letters of the alphabet. Have fun!
Can there be a bit of word play with it, like splitting a word to make three. Can't give an example as it's what I'm thinking of using for my shot. Darn. I'll try and think of something else but once you have one it's hard to think of something better.
Will the 'Fun' bit should be taken into consideration for these.

ABC has lots of potential
most start of with a:
"A Beautiful C...." so many words start with C and can be beautiful. Just throwing an idea out there.

then, there's always creative punctuation, like:
Big Cats: Denmark.
or
Big Cats; Denmark? |

OK, I thought of a different title. Sorta liked the other one better but will probably lose points because it's not reeeaaaallly the proper three words.
I don't score very high so don't need anything that will make it lower. |

I wonder how many I'll see with "beautiful cloudy day"
there are a ton of possibilities as others have eluded to. Mine came to me on the spur of the moment. |

So as the deadline looms, I wonder...
How many of you thought of a phrase and took a photo to fit it, and how many of you took a 'free challenge' type photo and crafted a phrase to describe it? |

i took a free challenge type of shot and then spent about an hour with a list of adjectives trying to fit the picture. |
