Try "Drunken Elves Fart"... And all you need is an innocent passerby holding his nose in a pee-yew pose to imply the smell... You're welcome, you're welcome, I know I'm awesome...

My first thought was that this was going to be like the DPC or DPL album cover challenge. I hope it is clear to everyone that words are not allowed in the image.

Hrmmm... Make that "Demented Elves frolic", avoid the smell issue altogether. Only question is, hot do you get6 Slippy to pose?

How about finding a flock of big, black birds and sending someone at them with a stick, photographing the chaos, and calling it "Poking Querulous Ravens"? JejejeĆ¢„Ā¢

You're great with words. I just tried to think of a word (any word ;-) beginning with N. My mind's a blank (which I hope is only temporary ;-)

A Macro/Closeup of some farting elves, doesn't sound enticing to me.
You could show a tiny match getting blown out.

what is the consensus of using words like "of" and "the" as seen in acronyms... ie they dont count? so you could have Big Cats of Denmark or like the USA is actually USOA...?

Thoughts?

I don't think you'll get a consensus. I'd consider BCoD acceptable, but other voters may not.

I think you are going to find that if you do use 'of,and,the' etc, that you may get comments saying and voting down on it. ={

Risky I'd say.... Title of Comp is "Make an image to fit a three-word title where the three words........" emphasis on the double use of "three words"....

However, as Jammur said, "Ya pays your money, and ya takes your chance".......I won't :O)

Fair point - kinda limits your choice of grammatically correct titles tho :( (and messes with my idea)

From my count there are 24 possible combinations. (ABC, BCD, CDE, DEF, EFG, FGH, GHI, HIJ, IJK, JKL, KLM, LMN, MNO, NOP, OPQ, PQR, QRS, RST, STU, TUV, UVW, VWX, WXY, XYZ)

What combination will be used the most?

What combination will be used the least?

What is the easiest combination?

What is the hardest combination?

How many will not meet the challenge? :)

Yeah: "Big Cats / Denmark" will work fine. Use some grammatical creativity :-)

Would DNMC in my book. As would using "the", "a", and "an" as filler words.

Yeah, I would not because it does say THREE words.

Again we have let ourselves fall into the ethnocentric trap, nothing in the discription requires that the title be in English.

Fact is if we want to eschew parochialism, then the phrase "begin with consecutive letters of the alphabet." really should be "begin with consecutive letters of your alphabet."

Hell, we can mix 'n match LANGUAGES; that ought to be fun :-)

This is a photo competition. I lean towards creativity, which is the heart of photography, as opposed to rigidity when it comes to interpreting the challenge description.

So, for me, Big Cats of Denmark is great.
