| I was wondering if this is a acceptable lens for my d80 |

| I know nuffink about lenses, but from googling it seems it'll work fine and Ken Blackwell really likes it as a lens, for the price. (Then again, some here think Blackwell's totally nuts). Hopefully somebody who actually knows something will chime in here :) |

You mean KenRockwell ;)
I think he seems a little emotional and not logical in some of his... opinions. However $40 for any lens seems like a deal. |

Well, I can tell you they are selling on ebay for about $40-50 and will mount on the D50 or D80.

I have one, although I don't know where it is. I never use it. Then again, I do have an 18-200 VR . . .
You have the 18-55 - save up for more interesting/exciting things, I'd say. |
