 dunno, hard to tell when you are looking straight-on, maybe a grouper? how big was it?

		| | It has to be native to the Pacific ocean as it was at the Sealife Center in Seward Alaska - and everything there is from here. I just didn't get the name of this fish as I took a fast shot as they were about to close. The fish size was big - probably a bit bigger than a football |

		| | if you look on the Sealife Centre's web site, it will probably have a list of it's fish - if not e-mail then the photo. 
 I bet they could tell you  :- )

		| | I would go out on a limb and say it is a red oscar.  looks like the fish may be a touch distorted though - perhaps from the glass.

 I was thinking oscar, or maybe even an african chiclid like a mbuna, but Shutter pug said its from a salt water tank
