If I have a sunpak 333 super and a canon 430ex, can I get the canon 430ex to fire when it sees the sunpak?? I'm getting pocket wizards but I don't have enough money to buy three, so my second flash needs to be a slave.
What's the best way to do this with what I have? |

The 430ex does not have an optical slave.
You might want to purchase a small optical slave device from flashzebra.com but you would need to use this on the sunpak as the 430ex locks up after one shot using an optical slave. This might be a cheaper alternative for you. |

I saw this as an option. How does the optical slave connect to the sunpak? |

I would suggest getting in contact with Lon from Flash Zebra as he sells all this gear and would be able to tell you exactly what you are after. He is great to deal with. Here's the link.

| The 430ex fires a pre-flash so a optical slave is not going to work for my sunpak. Looks like I have to get 3 pocket wizards... |

If using the flashes fully manual you will not have a problem. I gathered that that was what you were doing as you have pocket wizards and they are for manual flash use.
I think you need to visit the strobist site. See link
