I would like to be able to discuss pictures here that I might not want my Mom (Me Mum for our British and Australian friends) to see. Is there a way to make a picture hidden in my portfolio (my Mom looks there) but still be able to link to it in the forums (my Mom don't look there)?
Also is there a way to post a possible challenge submission in the portfolio so my Mom can see it, but no one else can?

If you put it in the workshop you can do both of these things. Give people a link to it and they can see it, but they can't see it just browsing your portfolio.
