well how about then for

Eisbaer we will make it for Saturday night May 3rd?

I will/should have 3 spot lights with me for anyone else to use, if anyone else has relatively high powered spots please do bring them. I will also have bear scares with me, the odds of using them are slim to none but Id rather have it and not need it ;) bing warm cloths it gets chilly and like I said if anyone else has flash lights do bring them, it gets very dark out there as I was out there for a quick test on last Sat and you cant see your hand in front of your face but that was about 10:30pm and Im planning this time to be out there slightly before sunset hopefully to set up and what not... Also as mentioned if anyone wants I can prob take a couple people in my car if you need a lift out.

Anyway its been a brutal day and Im off to bed... Oh and Shecoya, Id love to have you out there :)

ETA: In fact, the moon sets shortly after 7 pm that day, so it'll be REALLY dark out! May 10th is supposed to be nice weather, and you'll have 1/3 of a moon until 2:30 am.

Well for one the 10th was the tentative Calgary GTG, and considering I was out there last Sat night with no moon as well I know how dark it can get and thats why I plan to be there a bit before sunset to easier set up and Im also trying to dig up my propane camp lantern to help light the area a bit so every one can see. Also there should be no shortage of flashlights in any event...

Dont take this the wrong way but I put off going last weekend for someone else and that had since fallen through so Im NOT putting it off again. This is in no way an attack on you geoffb Im just saying Im going this Sat either alone or with friends...

hey. I'm bringing my hub and he has industrial lights plus a generator :)Not sure if he will want to lug that as well, but i'll try to convince him. PM me for a meet up, by the 7/11 gas station by Sobeys? What time?

*edit* lol not sure about the generator, you can try to bring it if you like but may get hassled by the rangers, some years they are cool about stuff like that and some years complete um bad people abusing what little authority they have...

Ok we'll meet you by Sobeys gas station, saturday night, at 8:15. We'll be in a green '99 Acura TL.

Trying to get my other photographer friend to come out but I think his wife won't let him :-p

Edit: Oh, any more luck getting more ppl to come out from DP? I'd want to meet them too!

Eisbaer and her husband for coming out, it was fun and hope we can get together again sometime soon, maybe next time do the falls at Johnson's Canyon lol, the upper one would be impressive :)

Speaking of which (becuse it's related) I was informed the Johnsons Canyon was still pretty icy and might not be great of a may 10th GTG... :(
