Stupid Nikon? More like; tough Nikon.
Stupid kid. I was hoping the microwave would blow up and cause some damage to the house or something.
And what was that blurb of a sound he made at the end? Like I said, stupid kid. |

Funny stuff. But.... odd that no light comes on while the micro is in operation. ;)

Whatever, the guys got cash to burn and wants to put his D3 through hell. People baby their cameras way too much anyways, professional bodies are designed to take a ton of abuse. |

agreed 100%....
I got caught once in a freak thunderstorm hiking in Florida..... 20 mins of drenching rain and while I was freaked at the time, it did nothing. Now I enjoy "testing" the limits of these things |

I think the Nikon in the microwave is faked for several reasons. |

No really, it is real! Whenever my D300 gets dirty I run it through the dishwasher and then microwave it to dry it. |

sorry for hijacking the thread, but according to one of his videos, the Nikon D3H will have 11fps on FX format and 14 fps on DX and iso 25-51000.
does anyone know, if these specs are somewhat confirmed, cus they sound pretty wild imo? |

From what I can tell the D3H was Nikons prototype to the D3, so those stats were probably once true however for one reason or another Nikon increased or decreased certain stats when making the D3.
Hope this helps :) |

I kind of suspected that as well...no sparks from any of the exposed metal on the camera? If nothing else, the hooks where the strap attaches. I have a coffee mug that has metal flake paint design on it and even that gives off a nice little display if I put it in the microwave. |

No idea if it's fake (I assume so) but my microwave has a metal shelf and no issues or sparks
