so ive been noticing lately that i have no idea what to name my images. so i was wondering what you guys thought about it. i also notice i score down in challenge if the name doesnt suit the image (i mean, if its WAY off, like if its called 'bike' and its a picture of a taco or something)

what do you guys think? do you consider image title in your scoring?

Mostly, when scoring, the title means very little to me. The title is almost never going to cause me to deduct points. On some images, the title contributes necessary insight into the challenge relevance, and if this is done cleverly I appreciate it. On occasion I have bumped an image because a brilliant title takes it to a new level.

The flip side, of course, is images where a better title, had I been presented with one, might have helped me appreciate what the photographer was after. But how many of those are there? I have no way of knowing...
