Man, I just don't get this... in the past I have posted photos that are grainy, selectively focus, unsharpend... I have had comments telling me that they were grainy, soft focus, etc... never considering that maybe that was the plan, so this time I loaded a pic which was technically perfect, adhered to the challenge 100% and I am scoring my lowest score ever... I just don't get it!

phew... I feel so much better getting that off my chest!

thats funny photogirl, i would just advising someone that if they chose to go with the grainy or blurred appearance by choice, ppl would score them low on the fact that it wasn't "sharp" enough. but hey, thats the way the ball rolls on this site. sad but true, i guess you must play the game.

Took a look at the so-called "technically perfect" picture. True, it looks ok, but I think you received a low score on this one because it's very plain and that it lacks any punch.

Sorry to say it, but the picture deserved what it got. In general, good pictures fare well, not so good pictures don't.

It's like one of the DPC members told me. You have to figure out what type of image works well with voters here and try to adapt. If you don't you'll keep getting middle of the pack to lower scores. That's just the way it is.

Have a good one.

Still annoying when no-one at all sees what you're trying to achieve though.
