I am so happy for you guys! James, I absolutely love Super Mario Party 8, and so does my son, and my neices and nephews, it is also a great family game. As someone else mentioned, Mario Galaxy is a lot of fun, also The Legend of Zelda. I didn't like Carnival Games, but my 3 year old loves it, and Wario Ware is also a lot of fun. My husbands favorites are probably Super Paper Mario and Metroid Prime 3.
Our charge station works great, but I have heard bad reviews on it, so maybe they don't all work great? I think it is definately worth the money, because the remotes go through batteries like crazy. You also need extra controllers and nunchucks (I think that is what they are called). I think you said you had a family of 4, so you need one for everyone!
