I am currently working on my new site design and would like some feedback from other photogs out there.

Here's the link to the work in progress

Hi Kim,

The flash site looks great.. the only issue is that it is a bit slow to load. This may turn some potential customers off. This is more than likely a negative feature of hosting your site under bludomain24.com rather than through a reputable host. (ie: yahoo, verio) I'm not sure if you can use bludomain's templates and host the site somewhere else.. but if this is possible.. its a good idea.

I would consider changing your index page (//bludomain24.com/~kimberly/) to match the gallery/flash site.. white.. rather than black and red. Also the three pictures at the bottom and the header/logo should be closer together and at the top of the page.

Hope this helps a little..

it loaded pretty fast for me. I just dont get a big kick out of flash sites though. I think your site is very eye pleasing though. I will go back in a few and look it over again.

meh it's alright. I'd like it if all the pictures were the same size though. Some pics of the same orientation are different sizes which is a bit disorientating.

Overall, it's ok. Good design, but bludomain always do nice stuff.

Thank you for your feedback guys/gals. I will consider changing the splash page to white, I was wondering that myself. As far as loading the bludomain site loads 100 x faster than my old site that I had a designer build and host for me.

I also will look at resizing all of the photos Tez. I've been looking at it quite a bit this morning/afternoon and after watching it I agree, it's starting to make me feel sea sick.

Thanks for the feedback, keep it coming!
