Hi All,

I have just been to a shop and bought a hot shoe sync for a Canon 40D - HOWEVER when I got home and read the camera manual it has a PC Port on the side for use with external flashes ?

I want to connect to Bowens 500 geminis

Can anyone shed any light on this? DId I waste £5? Can I use that PC port?

Thanks

Tony

Ya, you waisted $10 (or what ever the amount in $ is).

Check out Stobist's PC-Cords and Pocket Wizards

Just get a long PC cable or one of those ebay remote triggers.

Edit: If you do go with the ebay triggers, get the 16 channel one, I heard those are better than the 4 channel ones. I have the 4 channel one and it doesn't go fast enough for my 250sec sync speed. I have to use 200 or 180.
