Check out yesterday's photo shoot. These pictures were primarily for and about Rachel, a young aspiring actress. See IMDB links here, and here. But I also got pictures of her good friend Laura. Rachel's husband JD. And her aunt Jennifer.

Rachel
Laura
JD
Jennifer

All of these shots are straight out of Lightroom and unedited ... except the one of Jennifer (because she specifically asked me to "Make her 30 again"). But the images of Rachel and Laura are meant to help both of them in their careers. Some will probably end up in their portfolio. Others may just be fun shots hanging on their wall.

Anyway, I had fun shooting and hope to some day see Rachel make it big. :-)

Just a quick bump for the weekday crew.

Nice pics. She has a great look... very Arthurian, Camelot style ya know? She wouldn't look out of place in a Robin Hood movie. Thing is, i couldn't help but wishing there were some outdoor, forest shots of her. Her look and dress would have looked brilliant against some bokehed (is that even a word?) trees.

As always, textbook lighting.

Thanks! :-)

Yeah, a more creative background would have been nice. She was asking for something simple for her portfolio and I figured it couldn't get any simpler than a white background.

She has already picked out the images she wanted edited and I've posted them for her. You can see both the Before and After in this folder:

Laura just gave me her list this morning so her edits will be coming later this week.

Hey David,

Those shots are really great; I'm sure she is happy. Did you provide the wardrobe on that shoot or what? The dresses she's wearing are way cool! Hey on a side note; thanks for the advice the other week it was perfect!

Steve
