I was hoping someone here had any ideas. I am trying to make up a sign for my son's school function. The font comes out very jagged despite looking smooth at 100% on the screen.

Some sort of settings must have changed because I usually have no problems. I am using PS CS2.

Thanks in advance!

Photoshop is not the best resource for printing fonts - it has to rasterize the fonts to print them. Do you have the full version of Acrobat? Or InDesign?

I sure don't. I have a student copy of Word, but that's about it. I am not very good with Word either..LOL!

Just a couple weeks ago I created something in PS and insterted it in Word and it's worked fine. No luck this time!

Jennifer,

Try downloading OpenOffice.org 2.4 and making the sign in Impress. If you're not familiar with it, OpenOffice is a free, open-source office software suite. Impress is the presentation software included in the package -- basically the direct competitor to PowerPoint.
