I did a forum search and didn't see another mention of this:
//www.dpreview.com/news/0804/08041003nikonp80.asp#press
With 10.1 MP and 18x zoom (27-486mm equiv), Nikon's new P80 looks amazing. To be released this month.

EDIT to correct URL (thanks, Bear)

I noticed it the other day. Looks very sleek. It is in the price range of an entry level SLR, but without the need for additional lenses. I wonder what the high ISO performance is like?
This is another superzoom that I am really curious to see the reviews on:
Fujifilm S100FS
I like the fact that it has SLR-like zoom and focusing, but at $800, I could instead buy a Rebel XSi for the money. I all depends on the image quality and usability.

Thanks, bearmusic. I fixed the URL in the original post.
I'm curious about the high ISO, too. It claims 6400, even halved that's pretty impressive. And only $400 USD! Unless this camera flunks its performance tests (unlikely), it should be a great camera.
