I took this photo with my digital.. My kitten Mochiee.. the sun in the background, does it go ok with the photo? Critique if you need to.

Cute kitten. They seem to have so much personality when they are young. The light, IMHO, is a distraction.

So cute, especially with this surprised look. :-) About the light, well... it distracts me a bit, because it slices the shot into two pieces in my opinion, Mochiee is a light coloured cat, and... I don't know exactly, I can't concentrate that much on the kitten with this harsch light in the background. The shot would be excellent without it. :-)

Maybe because the sunsroke is in one line with the kittys eyes, it's strange, too. Wow, ewall53, what have you done to that poor one? :-))) Get him down of thereeeeeee :-))))) Don't you see how scared he is?

There's a new handy shortcut for this: the *thumb* tags.
Find out the site Photo ID number for each photo -- it's the number at the very end of the URL for the photo's display page. Then, when you are typing your post, just click the "thumb" button (the rightmost formating button) and type that ID number into the text field.
Presto! A thumbnail of your image will be posted in the forum, and is a link to the full-sized image page. Besides making it easy, this helps keep down the bandwidth required to display the forums -- people with slower connections aren't forced to wait for huge images to download every time. I popped in two of your kitty photos as an example.
Please note that if you edit your post, the code to display your thumbnail image will have been "translated" from the shorthand *thumb* links into the actual code the site needs.

The *thumb* tag only works for photos posted at DPC, in your (or someone's) portfolio. For images posted to outside sites, you need to use the Hyperlink button next to it to post the photo's URL.
Check out this Tutorial on Site Coding for more info.
