I need to create a small graphic and want it to be in a vector graphic format.

I know Adobe Illustrator does this, but for my one-time graphic, I'm just looking for a more inexpensive way to get this done. Is there any shareware or freeware programs that can easily create vector graphics?

Thanks, but the free downloads are the older versions and are not Vista compatible. The later versions of PhotoPlus are compatible.

Thanks for the tip. I knew there was a trial version, but was holding out for any other suggestions. I may have to go that route.

		| OpenOffice has a vector drawing program. I have never used it besides a quick test to answer this, but it seems okay. I don't think there's a way to only download OODraw. |

Thanks for the offer, David. However, Inkscape solved my immediate need. It installed quickly and was easy to use, especially if you are a PS person. The layout seemed very familiar.

 Thanks everyone for your suggestions.
