Not sure get the laptop and use MPIX ,or spring for a good printer. Any info on printers would be greatly appreciated, same for the laptop.

The printer would be solely for photography. Can go around $800.00.

I really really really really really like Mpix. If you go and buy a printer that comes anywhere close to their quality, you'll be laying down some big bucks. Plus, replacement ink is expensive to begin with, but it's even more expensive for higher-end machines.
Wouldn't you need a laptop to edit on in the first place? I'd go with a Gateway (what I have). Regardless of the Mac vs. PC debocle, they're great machines, plus you can haggle with the online sales people at gateway.com to get lower prices. |
