I think you are right. But.. when they turned it up the new site crashed the server and took the whole farm down! So they had to put the old site back up for a while. :) |

Downtime - Apr 4th
Our apologies for the downtime suffered earlier today. We had a very unpleasant disk failure that needed much attention.
We are looking to expand our systems in the near future to alleviate these types of occurrences. Please bear with us through future downtime.

Langdon says I can only have a "network admin" icon next to my name if I get one myself.
So therefore I demand that you produce a lovely network admin icon, perhaps with a jiggled network cable... or a known good router. Strikeslip? |

same here first thing I said was damn!!! they blocked this site...
So I though about checking to see if it was working on my laptop but the one day I did not bring my laptop with me to work and the trolls take DPC for half the day..... the withdrawal symptoms I went through lol

| god I know i was so freaking out! I actually zipped home on lunch and got the same thing.... Then I freaked out thinking maybe the site would never come back! ahhhhhhhh!!!! I hope we get warning if they plan one lol. |

I thought the same thing! Then after work when I found I couldn't access from home, I couldn't decide if that was better or worse. Weird thing, I went to my email to start emailing DPC people to ask them what was up, and realized I couldn't because almost all my emailing to DPC folks is through the PM function. Jeez. |

Maybe all of us current DPC members should get an "I survived the 5 hr blip" badge for our member icons.
At least we are back to "normal?" now, and our profiles and portfolios are still here. : )
I also thought that the site may be different when it returned on line.

Well, I heard a rumor in chat that a consortium of SheWho, Rikki and Leroy were taking over DPC after reaching an agreement with Langdon and Drew.
I won't name who mentioned the possibility 0-:)
(but I agree, Eug broke it)
