But I am blonde and thick as two planks of wood.
I have 1 photograph, I would like to make that photograph into three different exposures so I can play with them in the HDR. I know it is possible, just can not figure it out.
HELP
(PS I have those two planks of wood so you can knock me on the side of the head when I find out it is a really simple thing!) |

| Is your one photograph JPG or RAW? |

in the RAW converter - adjust the exposure slider up 1 stop for one, down one stop for another, and no adjustment from the third.
save them as three files and open those in PS for the HDR merge.
might have to strip the exif data from the three adjusted files in order for PS to allow you to use the HDR feature.

What do you use to open your RAW files? |

just FYI - you'd be better off using a TIFF over JPEG to get the full 12bits of data for HDR -vs using an 8bit JEPG.
when you export the RAW file - save as a tiff -vs a jpeg.

In Bridge, right-click on the photo you want to open, then chose "Open in Camera Raw...", this will allow you to make the adjustments you need. |

| But back then i didnt have photomatrix thingy and it was a long time ago and I probably didn 't know what you where talking about. |
