Greetings...I have a friend who, while in the process of downloading photos from his D40 somehow managed to loose all of them. He told me that the download to his computer was complete, he turned off the camera and then disconnected it. When he went to his folder on the computer it was empty. Prior to checking the folder he deleted the photos from his memory card in the computer.
Do any of you know of a tried and true program/proceedure to recover those photos? He is specifically interested in recovering deleted data/photos from his cameras memory card. I have not experienced this problem yet, (Knocking on Wood) but from what I hear, its a possibility we all face sooner or later.
Thanks for the assistance. |

Ya know what, Steve, I didnt ask him. Come to think of it, I assume that WOULD make a difference. Sorry, perhaps I should get all the facts and come back to this.
I'll try to follow up once I find out, but that wont be until Thursday. |

If it is Sandisk then there should be a recovery disk that came with the CF card. That will get all the photos back. |
