Looks like high winds everyone... bring a jacket or sweatshirt, and know that the poppies may close up. Let's hope for some lulls in the wind. See you there! I'm leaving in 10 min from Glendale.

Had a great time at the AVPP! Though it wasn't peak and the winds were strong, I still got some great photos and hung out with some great people! Hope to see you all again soon and see the rest of you at some future get together too!

These images are not only interesting for their intrinsic value for recording a significant visual event but for their insight into the mind of a photographer and his/her motivations when photographing it.

Looks like everyone had a great time! It's 25 degrees here in Denver and snowing.... 5 to 10 inches tonight. Wish I could have made it. :(
