Some may have read my thread last week on why I didn't enter this photograph. I wanted to post here and ask how you think it would of scored. Due to the sensitivity of the nature of the photograph I have written explaining why I didn't enter the image and how I was able to obtain it.
Any C/C are welcome and thanks in advance.

This image was going to be my entry in the Fences II challenge but I pulled it at the last minute. I guess I was being paranoid about the sensitive nature of the subject. It appears to be the transportation of illegal immigrants possibly to a detention center or being deported.

There were two large busses and one boing 727; all had no notable identifications. But the security van off to the side did have Department of Homeland Security on the door and its tag started with the letters DHS. Upon further review of the pictures I notice that security was wearing blue caps with the word âICEâ on the front and some equipped with what appeared to be automatic weapons. They were not only guarding the individuals that were hand and leg cuffed with chains linking the two, but also seemed to be looking out for outside intrusion.

I was out looking for a photograph that would fit the fence challenge when I came across this opportunity. I took several images and this one focused on the fence. At first I thought it would be OK to enter in the challenge because it protects the privacy of all individuals in the image. But at the last minute it came to mind that if I entered it in the challenge it could not be remove from the website if I wanted to or needed to do so.

I have placed it in my portfolio. I hope it does not offend anyone being a subject that has our nation divided at this time. I find this to be a true journalistic photograph taken within taste. Iâm not judging any of the individuals or agencies portrayed in this photograph. As always, individuals are innocent of any crime until proven guilty. Since I donât know the reason for these individuals being transferred from one mean of transportation to another, nor theyâre destiny, I find it proper to say all the above is alleged and cannot be â at this time confirmed. Especially since this activity has not been covered by local media.

Crazy, I'm glad you posted the picture though. Thanks. It would have scored well by me for sure, 7 maybe?

Unfortunately, the cuffs and chains aren't clear. If I didn't know the story I'd just see people getting off a plane, with one guy in a rather strange pose. Not being American, I had to look up what ICE was.
The fence is great, though! :)

I'm an American and I had to look up I.C.E., too. :-)

One of the things I like is that to me, it quickly becomes fairly clear that the man he is reaching back for is most likely wearing handcuffs -- I don't have to "see" them to understand they are there.
