If you upload to flickr, whatever size you want. I think flickr's largest display size is 1024x1024.
If you want to email it to us, 1024x1024 and 400K are the limits.

Thanks in part to DPCers, the photo contest has been a huge success so far. Here are the entry totals.
Enjoying the Environment: 249
Protecting the Environment: 198
Nature and Wildlife: 268
And just like on DPC (and probably everywhere), there was a surge the last day, when 20-25% of all entries came in.
Now our judges pick 10 finalists in each category, and then everyone on Flickr can vote.
