| hey i have been lookin for any filter which allows me to shoot direct sun for landscapes and keep the light good in both sky and landscape. b&h has too many varietys to sort through. |

graduated ND filter maybe.
what you want to do is tough though.

| ya, ive been just takeing 3 differnet pics and choosing two which work best to blend em to get the best of two worlds, but didnt know if there was a filter out there which ould do it for me. thanxs |

A graduated ND filter doesn't exactly "do it for you".
Those filters simply reduce the amount of light entering your lens without changing the color. They go from dark to transparent, the one where the transition is gradual is called the "gradual neutral density filter".
You then line up the transition with your horizon (or wherever the place is where the light changes), i.e. the darker part is over the sky to tone it down, the transparent part is on the foreground that needs more light.
The Cokin filter system is best for this one, because you can have the change from light to dark at any angle and level (i.e. not necessarily half way across the scene).
