From Wikipedia...
Peeps (branded as PEEPS®) are small marshmallow candies, sold in the United States and Canada, that are shaped into baby chickens, rabbits, and other animals....yadda, yadda, yadda....
Yeah, I'm another who wishes to say 'Not very inclusive' - VERY North American-centric. I feel it could have easily been titled to included more than one brand of candy available on only one continent.
Anyhoo - Happy Easter to those who celebrate it - and happy 4th weekend in March to those who don't!

Don't despair, Peepless ones! Check out Peep Research for some ideas of how Peeps look after a few scientific experiments. The solubility tests clearly showed Peep eyeballs (two little dark dots) were insoluble in all liquids, so a few black dots floating in something could easily be a dissolved Peep. Melted goo could be a microwaved one. Sprinkles of colored sugar on a plate or someone's lips the only evidence there was a Peep. Make a Peep replica out of regular marshmallows and sugar (and if it looks silly, so much the better). You could bring up the Peeps website on your monitor and look longingly at it. Or make a rude hand gesture at it. C'mon, you can play, too; this is a challenge that calls for silliness!
(BTW, WalMart is open here in VA for most of the day; don't know about in other areas. And I noticed yesterday they had sugared marshmallow confections from some other company so it looks like JustBorn has some competition now. Though in my family we are deeply rooted in holiday tradition, and therefore only the original Peeps will do for actual consumption.)
And may I say on a personal note - WOO-HOO! PEEPS!!! |

We hit a 24 hr CVS and bought lots of Peeps last night. Always fun to shop at 2am! But, better that then raiding the kids' baskets in the morning. |

Huh? You say that like we run a lot of "US-only" challenges.
I have to go back to July 2006 to find another challenge (also a speed challenge) that could be considered "US-only". In fact, those are the only two I can find, out of 800+ challenges.

Wow! I just bought Peeps of every color last night for my teenage sons!! That's the only Easter candy they demand every year, despite their age. Now, if I can muster some photography skills to go along with the subject, I'll have it made!! |

Get creative for peeps sake!! You could use a regular marshmellow and call it Evolution. You could show a melted marshmellow and call it "another Peep bites the dust". You could shoot a pile of colored sugar and call it "the remains". |

So do you really think the other 5.1% count!!!! Don̢۪t forget there are some war̢۪s going on at the moment and the land of hope is more occupied with these at the moment :) We are mere servants to the super power so keep your place and don̢۪t complain. :)

Hmmmmm....I sense a smart bomb in your future. :)

I just tried to find some Peeps, but the only store that is open doesn't carry them. Wish this was a 48 hour challenge or that it was announced when the stores were open :P |
