In the spirit of Easter, Why dont we make an easter bunny/peeps/colored eggs challenge?

The supermarket are flooded with peeps right now :P

Peeps ??

I'm familier with this as an abbreviation for People . . but I'm guessing this isn't how you are using it . .

So if you could translate into English for us (native) English speakers - what are 'Peeps' :- )

They're weird little marshmallow chicken things which explode in the microwave according to YouTube :P

Also . . just want to add that I like the idea of an Easter 48hr challenge - but maybe it should just be that - ' an Easter Challenge' Many people would certainly see Easter as more than Bunnies and Egg's, while for others that is eggsactly what they would want to see - so throw it open :- )

Must be an American thing. I've never seen them in Canada either. Not that I go looking for this stuff though. ;o)

Oh my goodness they are everywhere in Canada!!! Walmart, Shoppers Drug Mart, basically any store that sells Easter candy.

Maybe just certain parts of Canada.

ETA: Having said that, now, when I go out, I'll probably see them everywhere. LOL ;o)

Darn it .. I passed by them in the store yesterday and resisted the urge to buy them, now I just have to go out and find a store open tomorrow so I can get some!

I saw this on another board I thought it would fit this weeks intimacy challange, and add Easter to the mix.

I think this might be a USA/Canada only challenge. :) As far as I know, we haven't got Peeps down under.

Thanks for the photo Fetor, at least I know what they are now. It's going to look a lot like a rubber ducky speed challenge. :) Anyone lose a bet lately? Will we see any rubber ducky's cavorting with the peeps?

They're sugar coated colored marshmallow treats made to look like baby chicks. You could very easily make a reasonable facsimile and I sure wouldn't DNMC it - in fact there are (as there always are) a zillion possible takes on this challenge that don't require the actual branded candy. Come on, use your imagination, peeps!

Amen to that: most of us are seriously handicapped since we've never clapped eyes on a Peep before - must be a First World or American thing???

I was hoping to see this.

I have no idea what Peeps are.

Guess this is a local challenge for Americans only cuz we have no peeps here in my part of Canada.
I have never seen one.

I put this in the other thread, but I'll put it here too.

Make Peeps at home. The list of ingredients is very short and most people in stock at most homes. Back in my "I've gotta make everything homemade" days, I did make these and it's pretty easy.
