So I created an amazing DVD slideshow for the B&G of last week's wedding. Then I decided I'd like the slideshow to run on my website.......
...easier said than done.
First I created a Flash slideshow & tried to upload it to a few free flash upload sites, no luck. Then I dropped it to my own ISP and found the link, tried that.... nope. Finally I managed an html version that will run via my website... but its timing is off. :( The final image ends up hitting well after then end of the song (which doesn't happen on the DVD version).
Any suggestions? I'm in such deep water here, really no clue how to make my DVD show and my html version work the same. It seems its dependent on the viewer's processing speed... which throws off my timing.
Here is what I've managed so far, still not the same quality as the DVD version....

By the way, sorry there is no way to turn off the music... fault of freeware. But.... I'm so in love with that song, I've been singing it for 3 straight days now.

We've used Showit Web by David Jay. It's an excellent program and we were fortunate enough to buy it when it was still new and much less cost wise. But if slideshows are something you're looking at doing more of I highly recommend his program.

Can you create both the DVD and the web-slidshow at the same time... and my issue seems to be... will they run at the same speed? I have ProShow for DVD, but don't want to have to craeate the same show twice for two purposes.

Ummm...... sort of...... the couple/families can purchase a DVD from the slideshow. They can also purchase photos from the slide show as well as forward the slideshow to a friend which has been great viral advertising. I'm linking to my daughters wedding. Jenna used the full version of the slideshow software -- we only have the smaller version. It's really easy to use, very intuitive. You'd like it.

ProShow Gold will produce web output. (ummm... it might require ProShow Producer instead, I'm not sure)
