It's coming up (Monday!), and it's a big one: 18! Sweet! Voting, porn, cigarettes, incarceration, all that good stuff! Lol! Anyways, of course all I'm asking for from my parents is photo stuff, but I've come to a dilemma. They're fine with either of these, but I'm not sure which to ask for because I'm not sure which would be "the best."

- Wacom 4x6" Intuos tablet: I just played around with my friends, and it's AWESOME! Way better than the dinky one my dad lets me use!

Or...

- Cokin X-Pro filter holder + GND set: My P Series is not slim enough to work with my Tokina 12-24 without hardcore vignetting, and I've always wanted some GND filters to bring out the sky in landscapes and such.

OR...

- Something you guys think would be better, yet somewhere below roughly $300 that I think they're willing to spend since it's such a monumental B-day. I shoot lots of landscapes (and wildlife when I get the chance), but I'd really like to get into more portraiture. So if there's anything that would help me develop as a photographer and be FUN, suggest it and I'll look into it!! Thanks guys!

Yup! I'll improve your photography having the folks here add some C&C to portfolio pics.

Good idea on the membership! Will do. And yes, I do have a 50mm f/1.8, although I'll probably accrue my paychecks and sell it eventually to buy the f/1.4.

And Lensbabies look awesome! I've always kinda wanted one, but I don't know how practical it'd be. That'd probably be money from my own pocket going towards that one. But now I've gotta remember it so I can buy it ;)

Could always hit strobist & get some cheap strobes, stand & brolly easily for that if you are interested in exploring lighting.... but that lens baby is tempting hey (not practical but so) :-)
