A quick update to my story in Pendle England.
The Pendle local Government has approached me once again to help them with their eat healthy campaign.
Recently, they used on several billboards as a headline for the message " Don't Juggle with your health" eat at least 5 fruits and veggies a day.
They found this image originally here at DPC. This began a very nice relationship between myself and the good people of Pendle's local government.
Following the launch of their eat healthy campaign the Town of Pendle then purchased this image to help continue the campaign.
At Christmas this year The Town of Pendle approached me to see if I would allow them to use my face (I know ...Why? ) for a new campaign "Drink responsibly". Their plan was to work some photoshop magic and cut and paste my smiling mug on their artwork. Long story short ... I told them that I would shoot the shot for their new campaign, and came up with .
This week I was pleased to have been contacted once again to provide the Town of Pendle with an image to help continue their campaign to promote good eating habits. The Town wants to relate to its citizens how easy it is to grow their own fruits and veggies. Sarah Lee from the Town of Pendle actually emailed me a shopping list of fruits and veggies to use in my shot. They wanted the specific fruits and veggies in the shot to be juggled kind of like my original entry. I took up the challenge and came up with these shots
It was very tricky to juggle this many items but I practiced real hard : D
Here is the actual setup for the shot.
I used bailing wire and threaded it through each of the items. and then wired the whole mess to a frame in my back yard.
The Town loves the shots and will be using them in their campaign as well as their various partners plan to use my images on their websites.
So there you go. You never know who is looking or what potential can come from our little challenge shots ... Thanks a bunch DPC!!!
And thanks for reading my long thread
Coley

But the real question is how many marriage proposals have you received as a result of this series of billboards?? :-)
Seriously, congrats on the continued relationship - very nice deal!! |

Ahuge congratulations to you. I agree about the exposure through DPC. People complain about getting nothing but a virtual ribbon...but it is the exposure and the work that comes from that exposure that is the true prize for your entries effort.
