Well every athlete has their event... this is mine I guess... still wish I could have done more than basic editing, but I'm hoping the colours and composition will be to DPC's fickle liking :)

Well, I went out for a few hours today to shoot for Fences. I will be putting in an entry, but I am not sure how well it will do. Most of the interesting fences I remember are all covered my the great many feet of snow we have received this year!

It is interesting though what you can find in your own backyard. I discovered a very interesting area that is just 5 miles from where I live, and one of the few areas local to me that I have not taken the time to explore. Lots of fun stuff there for future shoots.

Ok, my fence is in!

I briefly thought about taking a photo of the guy behind the counter at our local "hock shop" buy and sell place as a "fence" of sorts, but I thought that due to language barriers and such, most people would not get it. As a result I played it safe and went with something inside the box. I am actually happier with it then I thought I would be when I took it, so that is a nice change.
