I recieved an equal amount of comments regarding color as good or bad. now I am confused:) Would love to here what others thought about colors and what a good sepia is to you. and thank you to everyone that spent the time to vote and leave comments, it adds so much to the challenges

Do you mean this one?

I liked it but wouldn't call it a "sepia". It doesn't have the drab, old-timey feeling that usually goes with a sepia. Although their clothing conveys "time period feel" well the faces and body language seem more upbeat. Only one got a higher score from me.

If that's the photo in question I'd agree that it's a duotone, but too bright or saturated for a sepia-tone.

If you'd care to email me a color or grayscale version, I'd be happy to send back how I'd do it.

I personally found the colour you selected too bright for my liking, too orange.
sorry.

this is what I consider sepia...
