I am considering ordering some alien bees
all i hear are good things about then but i'd love to see what they can do

Hi~! I'm a definite newbit, but just did this shoot (outdoors, under a pavilion, with alien bees):  . I love the things. Any fault in the photo is mine, not the bee's. |

I ordered mine directly from alienbees.com and they were delivered via UPS. No problems. I can't think of where they're sold retail. |

if you don't mind me asking, how much was the combo of shipping and Canada customs...I had to pay just for a canvas framing... |

There is a 80% chance mine with the softbox and wireless system will be up for sale within two weeks so keep an eye out if you want some that were used two or three times.
