Ok, I have this really cool Peleng 8mm.

Can I use it on my 5D, or will it hit the shutter?

It's an EOS mount, right? It works on my 10D, works on my 30D, works on my Rebel. Should work on the 5D, right?

The Peleng is designed for full frame. You will have no problems...

The Peleng is natively an M42 mount. I believe they might be selling versions with an integrated EOS mounting flange, but the basic lens hasn't changed.
Not all M42 lenses that work on APS-C cams will necessarily work on FF. The mirror clearance on FF is less. My Zeiss 75/1.5 Biotar needed slight modification to work, for instance.
The Peleng, however, does not seem to have issues, at least in my experience. the clearance is pretty tight, though.

As long as that is an EOS EF and not an EF-S mount you are refering to then yes...

IIRC discussion in other forums, there may be a part on the rear of the lens that can unscrew (filter holder?). Make sure its screwed in tightly or it may hit the mirror.
