One thing that I've recently been trying to get better at is converting color photos to B&W. For me atleast, it doesn't seem very easy as I usually don't get the popping results that I aim for.
Does anyone have any links to tutorials or thread discussions about B&W conversion techniques?
thanks in advance.

one thing that will really help with a B&W is using USM. amount=ALOT radius=1 threshold=0 that should make your shadows stand out more than normal.
