I took about 30 pictures today with the 5D, and only one of them is corrupt. (That I can find... haven't been through all of them).
The weird thing is that the preview thumbnail in PS and Canon Digital Photo Pro are ok. It is only when you try to convert it from RAW you get this crazy result.
Any ideas?
If you notice, the upper left part of the image is correct (sky).
Is it the sensor? CF card?
Thanks,

Looks like the write-to-card was interrupted partway through...

| If you still have the pictures on your card try uploading that image again with a different card reader. If you use the camera to upload try a different usb port or cable. Just a thought. |

Thanks Bear, I hadn't thought of that one.
It's not like I didn't give it time to write. There was probably a minute between shots when this happened.
I've had a Rebel, 20D, and this 5D... I've never had this happen.
It was taken using the 4GB Kingston "Pro" card that was free after rebate a month or so back.

Good idea; however that didn't work.

There's no chance you opened the card door while it was writing?
I made that mistake once and lost a lot of pictures. The problem is that the 5D has a fairly large buffer. So if you're shooting rapidly, you can get ahead of the buffer and think it is done writing and open the door before the writing is done.
