It's gotta be said, Packer fan or not, he is quite a guy and will be sorely missed on Sundays. I've lived in Wisconsin for his entire tenure, and though I've never been a died-in-the-wool Packer fanboy, I admire him and what he's accomplished. It's hard to imagine football without him.

I am a big college fan but watched his games every time they were on TV. He will be missed that is for sure. I know the Packers games won't feel the same.

I only got to see him in action for, like, two plays in person. But it was an honor to be able to see someone with his talent, even for a short bit! Very impressive guy. It was touching to see him get all weepy at the press conference.

It'll be interesting to see how the Packers do next year without him. Curious that you post a photo of him not throwing the football but handing it off. Was that to be symbolic?

Great career. It'll be odd watching the Packers without him. Good time for him to go though, go out with a lot of records, a good season, and the iron man streak intact.

I was shocked when it was first announced then quite sad as I have been a Packer Fan my entire life and Brett is by far the best thing to happen to this team in my lifetime. I admired his childlike love of the game most of all. Ill definately miss watching him play. Wisconsin is going to miss him and his family as they were very involved in alot of off the field activity that served the local communities well.
