Well, I do not know who else is in, but I will be at Picacho State park between 8:30 and 9 on Sunday morning. I figure once we meet up, we can play it by ear. Flowers, Civil war, ostrich farm......

Hey, two girls in a MG convertible, there will never be a blurred mess,

well, maybe after we chase all the soldiers that are going to be there hehehehehhe

I could bring a picnic if you guys want, that should be fun! I make a wicked roast chicken (unless you are vegetarians, then i make a bad chicken)

I'll be in Az, but to far south to make it up there. I'll be in Madera Canyon area for some early hummingbirds, flowers, etc. Then on to Sedona for a wedding. Hope you have fun.

You are right on the way, you have to go past us to get to where you are going!!! Join us!

Just double checked and you are about 1 hour from Tucson, 1.5 from the Peak.

OKay, maybe more people will come if BA cooks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I will bring, home made bread, roast chicken, a little roast beef, condiments (butter horseradish salt pepper) and a homemade bread pudding (it's an English thing)

Ha so we willeat like Queens, (one Princess and one King!)

I so wish we could drive out for this...the last time I saw massive wild flowers in AZ, it was gorgeous!!

It seems I planned this little outing without putting enough thought into it. I ordered a new camera from B&H, and it will not be here until Tuesday.

In the meantime, I sold my 10D on ebay, and have committed to mailing it out on Saturday. Ack, I will be without a camera on Sunday. I am so sorry.

OH well, never mind, congrats on the new camera though, sounds like fun!!!

I will post some pictures when I get back from chasing all the soldiers!

What did you get????


I got the Canon 40D. I have been wanting this camera for the longest time, but it took me forever to justify it to myself.

FYI: I just heard from a friend that volunteers at the boyce thompson arboretum that the wild flowers there are simply stunning and they are expecting this weekend to be the peak.

If I were still in AZ, that's where I'd be this weekend.
