So I've wanted to get into more professional lighting for portraits and maybe some stock photography. I've brought several books on the subject and I am eager to get the supplies needed to start working on this, but when it comes to shopping for stuff I am overwhelmed with picking a set. Any suggestions on what would be a good Flash lighting kit to set up a beginners studio, or maybe what I should look for in a kit? Any help is appreciated, thanks.

I already have 2 alien bees but feel I need more to get some good lighting.
