Ok, even though this is in Rant section, calm down. I am not angry to anyone but just wanted my thoughts to be heard (like always)
Pets challenge TOTALY surprised me... again, not because of my entry, no not at all but the front runners?!
They are not bad shots; although there are some pets lined up in second and third page, after 10th rank... they should had been switched with some of the first 10. Each day, DPC confuses me. I am keep telling myself to get over it, but sometimes, I just can't.
There... you have it.
BTW, no 8? It's a freaking sabotage... There had to be at least 2 8's... something is awfully wrong, and I just don't want to say things that would put me on a cross. |

lol i was thinking the same thing. But I've just resigned myself to realizing I don't usually agree with DPC popular vote. Generally I find the front runners "safe" images... usually little to criticize, good, stock-type images. Not always, no, but a lot of the time. The images I like, with more character are picked apart and reduced to smaller scores... the background is distracting, I don't like this, I don't like that. I mean, we all do it... I try to nitpick only in comments though and not in scoring.

| If you have different results for your personal top three, just post 'em - the photographers might appreciate the recognition. Start a thread in challenge results and just post without noting that you were disappointed with the "official" outcome. |

I'm not too shy to tell you I was greatly disappointed. I really thought my entry,  , was worthy of better than 76th place.
Yup - I'm griping. This is exactly why I rarely enter anymore. It's just too damn disappointing and frustrating. |

| LOL, Well I knew I wasn't going to get a top 5 but I sure was hopping for the front page. I had 6 favs and 34 comments and I have to say that was the most comments I have EVER received on a challenge. I loved it. |

| There will always be underrrated- and overrated- shots (I've had my share of both), and this challenge was no exception. I had Dirt_dude and Pugger's entries ranked 8th and 32nd, respectively, and I'm shocked that Cheegirl and Seanachai didn't make the top 10. |
