I am shooting a wedding this weekend and I have 2 30D's and my lenses. Could you have a look at my lenses and advise me as to which two lenses would be best to keep on the cameras. I will have them all with me but I would like two at the ready. The ceremony is outdoors but it is highly likely that it will be overcast as the wedding is in Mackay and it ended up being deluged and flooded just as bad as Emerald was and is still getting wet. Thanks

24-70 2.8 on one, 70-200 2.8 on the other.
Rent or borrow.

hmmm, looking at the lenses you have I'd say Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II and Canon EF 55-200mm f/4.5-5.6 II USM with the Sigma 10-20mm close at hand :)

Cant rent or borrow (facility not available here and dont know nayone to borrow off) but didn't think I needed to. What would I need to rent or borrow and why? |

As long as the ceremony is outdoors, I think you'll get away with using your Canon 55-200 f/4.5-5.6 lens. If the ceremony moves indoors, or the light gets too low, then you really need a faster lens.
The 70-200 f/2.8 that option recommended you borrow would let in 4 times as much light, making it easier/faster to focus, and allowing you to use higher shutter speeds.
My two most-used lenses for weddings are the Canon 24-70 f/2.8L and the Canon 70-200 f/2.8L IS. The reason? The f/2.8 constant aperture and the fast focusing systems in those lenses.

For the low-light work, you'll have to make sure you have ready access to your 50/1.8, it will be indispensable.

Excellent, thank you. I will set up the cameras accordingly. The other lenses will be in my backpack nearby. Will post some photos next week.
