I just got a new laptop (an HP) that is 64-bit with 4-Gb of RAM and was wondering if anyone runs Photoshop CS3 Extended Edition on Windows Vista 64-bit Edition?

I have PS CS3 Extended running on Vista Ultimate 32bit and on another puter running XP Pro64 bit. No real issues to speak of so far. Also have it running on my laptop with XP media Center...

Thanks, Dave. One more q...
It's the same CS3, right? I mean, I don't have to go out and buy another edition of CS3 specifically for 64-bit, right?
If so, I guess I need to deactivate my 32-bit version, so that it will install on the 64.

I just got everything loaded (Vista 64-bit) onto my new 64-bit laptop (4Gb RAM, 4Gb ReadyBoost memory, wide screen [1680x1050], 2Gb of graphics memory, Bluetooth mouse, 4 USB 2.0 ports, one IEEE 1394 port, etc).
Photoshop CS3 Extended Version really screams!! I love it!
I question though...how to I export my CS3 Actions from my old machine to my new one?
Thanks in advance!

What sort of HP did you buy ?
I am presently using a HP (compaq nx6120) which I have to replace soon. I would like a larger screen (17") but am told that they still aren't as good as the 15.4" (not yet anyway).

It's the 8510W. It's the 15.4" screen. It's my first wide screen on a notebook (wide as in aspect ratio). It is very crisp, clear, and bright at 1680x1050 resolution. |
