Thanks to  JulietNN for the idea of a GTG in my old home county :o)
This is a little bit in advance but hopefully it'll give us an idea of who'd be interested! :o) So...
Place: Aldeburgh
Dates: 12, 13, 19, 20, 26, 27 JULY 2008

I live in Thorpness, which is right on the coast, in between Aldeburgh and Southwold. There we have a village that was built purely for a mad English man. He loved Peter Pan, so built a lake there, built all the houses in the village to look like Peter Pans story.
Aldeburgh is just down the road, huge art place and fishing village
Snape Maltings, Benjamin Britten composed music there, very forward art place
We have castles, moats, birds reserves
we have viking ships
we have sunken villages
tons of bird reserves
Constable (famous painter, google him!) lived just down the road, so all of his paintings where done there and of course all the sights are still there
Suffolk has everything you could imagine rolled into one, it is lovely.

It could be done over 2 days too if any one is interested. Tons of cute Bed and Breakfasts there

Put me down as a 'possible'. Only thing that might be a pain is I dont do driving. What is the local transport like in that area?

I don't do driving either... But I'd be tempted to come join you guys if that's cool.
Might be away for a lot of July though, so it depends if I'm in the country... |

local driving would be me lol,
how many photographers can you fit in a Mini LOL
you can get trains to Saxmundham and then I can do a pick up or you can catch a bus right to Adeburgh or Thorpness.
We have a Landrover, so we can fit all the gear into that, and then we have a coule of cars too that can be used.

Looks a lovely part of the country. Bit of a trek (4 hours by train) but well worth it. Thanks for offering to be a taxi ! :-)

I live in Lowestoft, when i'm not at uni, so its not too far away!!!
Until after Easter, I do not know when I finish for the summer.
But if I am home i'll try and hitch a lift there (I can't easily drive anymore) with my dad/frineds!

Well, I have 6 beds in the house, so I can take up to 6 more people. T and partner friend have the downstairs bes all ready booked

Oh Hell yeah it is still happening.
The kids are booked with my parents for the weekend, I have several cars ready to go, the beds are all ready for you guys, some gorgeous spots to take you all.
And we will bar b q on the beach if you want!!!!!!!!!!

| as another thought. Has Zodiac been in contact with anyone, I havent heard from her in a very long time and she didnt manage to enter the DPC O games. I am worried about her. |
