Am not after your money (yet) just your help....

Hi peeps, some of you may know that Talj and I took part in the BritBall Run 2007 and to date have raised over £6,100 for Cancer research.

Last years BBR winners where Team KillerViral (Chris and Paul). Talj and I had the pleasure of having dinner with them both on the eve of the BBR and, to be honest thought they were no competition as they were 3 hours late for dinner! Anyway, they were good fun throughout the weekend, emerged as champions and, as fellow roadster competitors found it difficult getting the massive trophy in the ickle car.

A few days later Chris contacted Talj and offered their prize of free entry to BBR2008 to us. A most generous offer that we are both still astounded by! In a few weeks time BBR2008 will be featured on Men and Motors and it is then that the Ticket for BBR2008 will go on Ebay as a 10 day auction. Now, this is where we need to enlist your help, Talj has a massive list of car related forums and is currently getting in touch with the Admin to make way to post details of the auction on their site. If you or anybody you know ever frequents a car related forum (or think a forum you frequent may be interested) we'd like to ask you to post the auction details in readiness for the auction.

Face value of the prize is £700 and by doing the auction via ebay and donating 100% of the winning bid to our chosen Charity Missionfish will double the amount, this will seriously increase our total donations.

Please either post here or pm myself or Talj if you can help by posting about this auction on another site.

I am working my way through a list as Andi mentioned but any suggestions for automotive forums I might be able to post in would be greatly appreciated :o)

Seeing as you're in the UK, does the program 'Top Gear' have a website? If they do, do they have a forum or somewhere on their site you can post your ad?
