So... I'm trying to learn/experiment bringing trendy and cool vector graphics from illustrator into photoshop to do some graphic design work. I've been thinking of downloading some of the free vector packs from Vecteezy and other sites. My question is this.... Can I just copy and paste from Illustrator to Photoshop? If I do this can I CTRL+T the graphic to transform/scale it with it still retaining its vector properties? I've heard something about Smart objects being the way to use Illustrator graphics, but I'm not sure how this works...
Anyone? |

I think with the newest versions, you can just open the file from within Photoshop, and not open Illustrator at all.
If you already have the software, make yourself a simple Illustrator file (.AI and/or .EPS) and experiment ...
