I've been looking and wanting a photo lab in Canada that I can the same thing as on collages.net, mpix among many other labs where I can upload my pictures, price them, have customers come order them, pay and have them printed and delivered directly to them.
I'm using instaproofs.com right now but I'm printing and sending everything. It hasn't been an issue thus far but will be the busier I get.
So does anyone know of a reputable, online lab that is in Canada?

Can't help, but a friend of mine used Smugmug for his business, and he likes it. |

There's not much in this frozen wasteland.

Maybe someone needs to start one :)

there's this - Camera Canada not too sure if it's what we need, but it bears more examination.

There's nothing on the site that indicates that the Pro Lab only operates in Ontario. I've ordered gear from Camera Canada with great service. I'm sure the service in the Lab would be similar.
Why not just contact them with the questions you have and what you need from a lab.

yeah, it just says local labs. but, when you get through the rigmarole, they only have labs in ontario, and don't let you go any further. i guess it needs to be within 1000 miles. oops. country's just too damn big.

That's only a problem if you have to go pick up the prints. I'm pretty sure they use Canada Post. Or maybe Canada Post is for the non-pros.

I looked at them last night and they certainly come close. I do like that they have a one time fee, but to do that plus take 15%, plus another 20 bucks to extend any single event just doesn't do it for me above what I'm currently doing.
After asking around on other sites too, this seems to be the common conclusion. Nothing against our neighbors to the south, I just have an aversion to asking a customer to pay $25 to ship a picture or two cross border just because it crosses a border.

There's no way to set my own pricing for prints.

This one's in Calgary. They use the same system as Camera Canada.
