I was a bit taken aback at the comment that this event was "likely to have religious overtones".
I'm not a churchgoer, but that doesnt stop me from attending an event at your work premises, which I expect will be something of great value to all interested enthusiasts. It's photography, that's it! We're going to learn, meet, chat, eat..........not have a church service!
Ps...if the catering's kosher, can my Rabbi come along too? |
Thanks so much for the support. Our offices are in a seperate building to our church. A house on the corner that we have renovated in a groovy way. It's a fantastic setting. There are no crosses, stars, signs, stained glass...and anyone can come. I feel sorry for Leo's small minded view...
Not sure about the Kosher catering. Food will be mainly dips and stuff, fresh fruit and nice coffee and tea. |
If I have misjudged you Enzo then I apologise, but I have had dealings with others from the Pentecostal movement in Melbourne and have been disappointed that they cannot seperate their beliefs from secular events, despite their claims to the contrary. Unfortunately the most outspoken tend to be the most memorable, and not usually in a good way! |

No problems Leo...
Any other takers? This will be pure dpc. My office is a suitable place as we have digital vision possibilities and we can look at stuff together on a big screen...Enzo |

Wish I could visit Oz Enzo. Sounds like it will be a
fun event. Even if religious overtones were present, I'd
be immune as I'm Methodist. LOL Have fun! |
